Cornwall

Today was spent driving the south coast of Cornwall. Lots of km's done and all worth it.

Polperro was our first stop....at the recommendation of Uncle Errol. Travel Tip #2 - always listen to good advice. To coin a local phrase, Polperro was "chocolate box pretty". A old village on the coast with safe anchorage probably once used by pirates, it is now a cute holiday village. The sun came out and we even took off our jumpers for 1/2 hour! Scones and clotted cream overlooking the harbour and village.

Stop 2 was St Michaels Mont. An 11th Century Monastery build on an island only accessible at low tide....unless you pay the 4 pound return price on boat. An amazing structure.

A brief drive-through of Penzance to decide it was to big to take it all in. Onward to St Ives for a well earned Cornish Pasty and half pint of guiness.
